In my opinion, age and gender can impact on care delivery in a way that some of the patients like small children cannot communicate effectively with the nurses and the other healthcare professionals to explain their health problem. It has been observed in the case of few female patients that they are not comfortable and feel shy to be treated by the male doctors. Understanding and health education Age and gender can impact on care delivery in a way that the lack of literacy results in poor understanding and limited health education (Lvesque, Hovey and Bedos, 2013). The patients who are not educated are not able know regarding the procedures of their treatment and thus cannot participate effectively for attaining better health services. Mainly, the small children and the women in some of the orthodox societies are derived from the health services due to lack of literacy. The ability to self-care is predominantly concerned with the older individuals and small children, who cannot take care of their own and requires support for their care. Ability for nurses to create rapport and relationships with people It has been observed that some of the female nurses are not comfortable giving treatment to the male patients and thus they are not able to create rapport and and relationships with the patients (Education 2014). The three cultural practices in Philippines, India and China include cultural dualism, Indigeneity and isolationism respectively (Alligood, M.R., 2013). The four health issues in India, Phillipines and China include HIV, diabetes, obesity and cardiac failure respectively (Potter et al. 2016). Advantages and disadvantages of using primary and secondary research One advantage of using primary research is that, one gets the opportunity to meet with the correspondents and gets information directly from them. On the other hand, primary research is associated with some disadvantages. One of them is that, it is an expensive process that requires prior planning. The other disadvantage is that, it consumes a lot of time that would otherwise be used for other activities. Secondary research is the use of recorded information to write a report. This type of research has numerous advantages. Some of them include; it is cheaper than primary research, it does not consume a lot of time, requires less effort, and can be done at any time from any location so long as there are materials to be referred. The strengths and weaknesses of the company should be evaluated on a periodic basis in order to identify potential challenges that can affect the normal operations of the company. It is important to note that new challenges arise and can contribute to the company’s already existing weaknesses. Again, the company is likely to gain more strength in areas which, if well utilized, can help enhance the competitive advantage of the company.
